In clinical supervision and consultation, I focus on what happens in the room between client and therapist. As our clients can recreate painful and at times problematic patterns of interaction with us in the therapy relationship, it is essential to the work of therapy to recognize our own unavoidable participation in these patterns in order to help our clients gain insight, rework patterns, and heal old wounds. I offer non-judging, psychodynamically-oriented, multicultural and mindfulness-informed clinical consultation/supervision, encouraging therapist openness and curiosity toward their work with clients. For those interested, I work with therapists to develop and implement self-care plans to support their personal wellness as they engage in this meaningful, rich work.
